Monthly Pattern of Worship at St. Lawrence
Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) |
This service is currently suspended. |
Parish Communion |
This Common Worship service normally takes place at 10am on the first, third and fifth Sundays of each month. |
Matins (Book of Common Prayer) |
This service normally takes place on the fourth Sunday of each month and follows the order as set out in the Book of Common Prayer. |
Together in Worship |
This less formal service normally takes place on second Sunday of each month. It is an opportunity for all ages to worship together and includes a craft activity for the children, linked to the theme of the service. |
Evensong |
This is a joint venture between St. Francis and St. Lawrence and is supported regularly by the St. Francis Choir. It takes place on the second Sunday of each month at 6pm Apr-Oct and 4pm Nov-Mar. (No Evensong in December). Evensong is a beautiful service and a wonderfully peaceful way to end the week and prepare for the week ahead. Please do join us. Everyone is welcome. |
Family Fellowship
|
On the fourth Sunday of the month we have begun a family fellowship time for families, this is held in the Reading Room (opposite the church) and includes breakfast. It is a more informal session for families and children to meet together for Bible stories, prayers, games and craft activities related to the theme of the morning. It lasts for about 45 minutes and the congregation from the Matins service join for coffee & refreshments at 11o'clock. |
Families are welcome at all our services.
Resource bags are available for children of all ages at all of our services.
