ADVENT FILM NIGHTS!

Four episodes of the BBC films of the Nativity will be shown in the Reading Room in our procession through Advent.  Do come and experience the wide screen using our latest technology of surround sound.

Tuesday 17th December

Doors will open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

Each episode will last 30 minutes and be followed by discussion, with tea & coffee available.

 


 

ST. LAWRENCE

ADVENT MORNING PRAYER

Three Tuesday mornings in December on 3rd, 10th and 17th at 9.30am

Including time for fellowship and coffee

A time to listen, to participate and to reflect at this hectic time of year

 


 

There will be no Evensong in December. 

Instead we will be having our annual Carol Service
on Sunday 15th at 6.00pm.

Our Evensong Service in January will be on

Sunday 19th at 6.00pm

Lighten our darkness, we beseech thee, O Lord;
and by your great mercy
defend us from all perils and dangers of this night;
for the love of thy only Son,
our saviour Jesus Christ. Amen

 


 

Family Fellowship

 

There will be no Family Fellowship in December. 
Instead we will be having our annual Crib Service
on 24th December, at 3.00pm,
including a Nativity Play.

Any children who wish to dress up as angels, shepherds, kings or shepherds
will be most welcome to join in with the final scene.
